POINT
EVALUATION SYSTEM
The Nebraska
Junior Golf Tour's Point Evaluation System establishes objective
criteria by which the NJGT and its founding partners can judge the
performance of golfers who participate in premier NJGT competitions
and major junior state championships.
Players are given points based on an "average points per event
basis." A minimum denominator of 4 is set, meaning that players
who play in fewer than 4 events will still have their point total
divided by 4. Players may receive points if they have played in
fewer than 4 events, but they must play in 4 events in order to
receive maximum credit for each performance.
The tournaments
that are included in the point system are the member's Junior State
Championships, the Nebraska Section PGA Junior Championship, and
the 4 NJGT premier events.
